Wednesday 29th December

Arrive at the Hotel after 2pm and enjoy a traditional tea in the lounge. At 7pm join the hotel management for a welcome Bucks Fizz and canapés before your three course dinner. After dinner join us for a game of bingo or our team quizzes in the lounge bar.

Thursday 30th December

Enjoy a full English Breakfast before spending the day at your leisure, perhaps visiting some of the wonderful historic sights within our famous town or further afield. Alternatively enjoy our complimentary tea and coffee (served all day from 10am) whilst playing board games, cards or trying out the puzzles with afternoon tea served from 2 –5pm. Dinner tonight will be followed by ‘A Night at the Races,’ fun money will be provided and taking a risk is essential.

New Years Eve

After Breakfast, spend your day as you so desire, with complimentary tea and coffee served throughout the day after 10.00am. Join your fellow guests as we meet for an afternoon cream tea from 2.00 – 5.00pm. The evening commences with canapés and aperitifs followed by a five course gourmet dinner. Entertainment is provided by our resident DJ and a traditional Scottish Piper.

Saturday 1st January

After breakfast depart for home with our best wishes for the New Year.

Take advantage of this fantastic two night break with dinner included on the first night and full English breakfast on both mornings.

You can spend your time visiting the local attractions, indulging with some retail therapy in the local high street or relax in the hotel taking advantage of some of the fantastic facilities.

This Murder Mystery weekend includes a delightful three course gourmet dinner on both nights and a full English breakfast on Saturday & Sunday mornings.The thrilling entertainment will start at dinner on Friday evening and will continue throughout Saturday and conclude on Sunday morning, where you’ll solve the mystery and find out just who dunnit!

Death On The Grosvenor Express

Come with us on a journey into the unknown, travelling on this luxurious locomotive towards a strange destination.  Murder lurks around the next bend, so if you stay on the right track it’ll be “full steam ahead” to unveil the culprit. Join the ranks of celebrities and royalty as you travel on this legendary train from Istanbul to Sleepy Willow. In 2006 the train was renovated to recapture the romanticism of the early 20s. Who knows, maybe a famous detective will be onboard!

Christmas Eve

Arrive at the Hotel after 2pm and enjoy afternoon cream tea in the Lounge served until 5pm. At 7pm join your hosts for welcoming drinks and canapes before dinner. Mulled wine and warm mince pies will be served after Midnight Mass.

Christmas Day

Enjoy a hearty Country House Brreakfast and a relaxing morning at your leisure before joining your fellow guests for a traditional Christmas Day lunch. Complimentary Tea and Coffee is served throughout the day and during the Queen’s speech, which is shown in the lounge, accompanied by homemade Christmas Cake. Spend the afternoon relaxing or playing board games. A carved buffet will be served for dinner this evening followed by an opportunity to take part in a ‘Night at the Races’. Light snacks will be served after the races. You never know Santa may even pay a visit!

Boxing Day

After Breakfast enjoy a day of leisure, with tea and coffee served throughout the day. Take this opportunity to explore and discover the picturesque delights of Stratford upon Avon’s Shakespearian past, stroll along the river or wander around the town, popping in to a few boutique shops. Afternoon tea is served at 2pm, followed by our Treasure Hunt. A fabulous four course dinner by candlelight will be followed by entertainment in the lounge bar where you can join in our famous quizzes or a game of bingo.

Monday 27th December

After breakfast say goodbye to your fellow guests and have a safe journey home.
